Abbi Fletcher

Founder & Certified S2C Practitioner, Colorado Spellers Collective

Abbi Fletcher is a certified Spelling to Communicate (S2C) practitioner and the founder of the Colorado Spellers Collective. Abbi holds a degree from Wichita State University, combining a liberal arts education with a background in dance, a foundation that directly informs her understanding of purposeful movement and body-mind connection in communication. She has spent her career working alongside the neurodiverse community, starting in 2016 with Wichita Public Schools at Stucky Middle School, where she ran the student transition and independence program and served as a teacher’s assistant. She later moved to Dallas to work as an educator at Cornerstone Achievement Center, focusing on specialized education and programming for students with complex developmental and learning needs.

Bringing her hands-on classroom experience into operations, Abbi joined Stride Autism Centers and was promoted to Director of Talent Acquisition. In that role, she built the company’s entire recruitment, interviewing, and hiring infrastructure from scratch, ensuring the highest standard of care by bringing dedicated, highly qualified clinicians to Stride’s clients and 20+ clinics across the Midwest. 

While she valued building organizational systems, her true priority was working directly with families and individuals. To return to direct practice, she began her S2C training in 2025, earned her certification in January 2026, and officially opened the doors to Colorado Spellers Collective. 

Outside of work, Abbi volunteers with Friends of Red Rocks, Feel the Beat, and Calling All Crows. She can usually be found hiking Colorado's trails with her dog, Fritz, or curled up with the latest Stephen King novel.

Abbi is dedicated to her practice's mission: helping nonspeaking individuals be heard, known, and understood through Spelling to Communicate.
